List Field Value Mapping

Where list type (multi and single select) fields exist in the NRSR system, imported values will be matched to the NRSR system values for those fields. 

If values don’t match, the List Field Value Mapping Tool will prompt you to:

1. Map the values from the import file to NRSR system values. Or,
2. Create new values for that list

Mapped values will be remembered by the NRSR system so that for any future imports under that account, the value mapping will be automated.

Where the NRSR system allows for “Other” the List Field Mapping tool will enable the creation of a “Custom Value” for that account. 

• The Custom Value becomes available for that account when adding rolling stock and editing rolling stock specifications
• The new value won’t be added to the NRSR system and won’t appear for other accounts
• The new value will appear in Admin Panel >> List Custom Values for management by NRSR system administrators
